I do that as well!! Though I didn’t know about the ‘mammalian dive’ response though I definitely feel the calming effect. I used to swim in cold, running creeks as well and definitely enjoy it more these days. Let me know if you make it to the 10-minute mark! I’d love to know why you started taking cold showers as well.
